The Spectator: “George Floyd was no martyr”

An article in The Spectator, the oldest weekly magazine still published in the U.K., contributor John Lloyd discussed the death or murder of George Floyd—and how these terms have become highly politicized.

The crux of the superbly written article surrounds how Glenn Loury (an economics professor at Brown University) and John McWorter (a linguistics professor at Columbia University in New York City) have changed their perspectives on the matter. Loury and McWorter admit they were persuaded by The Fall of Minneapolis documentary—and their interview with producer Liz Collin and director Dr. JC Chaix.
